Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Execution: 

• Interpret and implement project blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure timely project delivery.

• Develop and maintain schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  

2. Leadership and Team Coordination:

• Lead site teams, including subcontractors, workers, and junior engineers, fostering collaboration and productivity.

• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure all activities align with project requirements and safety standards.

• Resolve on-site issues promptly and efficiently to minimize disruptions.
  

3. Quality Control and Safety:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Enforce compliance with health and safety guidelines and address any violations swiftly.
  

4. Resource Management:

• Monitor and manage material usage, equipment, and labor to optimize resources and minimize waste.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  

5. Communication and Reporting:

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.

• Prepare and present progress reports, identifying risks and proposing solutions to mitigate delays.
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in site engineering or construction management.

• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Proficiency in construction software e.g., ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
